Cops & Kids - supporting our members, our youth and our future!
Cops & Kids makes a difference in Hancock County, Ohio! For the past 20+ years, banded together as the Fort Findlay Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #20, our local law enforcement departments have raised funds to provide children and families with a wonderful holiday. Since creating our subsidiary foundation in 2021, we have increased positive interaction between youth & law enforcement though our additional programs Cops & Kids Get Creative and Cops & Kids Get Involved. We've also provided school supplies for law enforcement families, and more. Giving to Cops and Kids continues the tradition of building positive relationships between law enforcement and our community.
Since the creation of the foundation, we are still fundraising and shopping each Christmas with children from the community, but now we can do so much more! Our website details our current programming and our hopes for the future.
The creation of the foundation allows us to apply for grants and facilitates other important updates such as:
- Donations now stay in Hancock County - all fundraising and programming is done in Hancock County for benefit of Hancock County.
- All donations are now 100% tax-deductible.
And, we can build a better relationship with YOU, our donors.
