The Fort Findlay FOP Lodge #20 Foundation champions programs that bring children and law enforcement together in positive ways while supporting the officers who protect our community every day.
For more than twenty years, the officers of the Fort Findlay Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #20 have created meaningful opportunities for children and officers to connect. What was once known as Shop with a Cop continues today as Cops & Kids Go Shopping, carrying forward a beloved tradition that pairs children with local police officers for a day filled with encouragement, confidence, and joy.
Over time, that single program has grown into something even greater. Today, through the Fort Findlay FOP Lodge #20 Foundation, a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that proudly supports the Lodge and its mission, the impact has expanded into multiple Cops & Kids programs that bring officers and young people together throughout the year while also strengthening our ability to support the men and women behind the badge.
In addition to Cops & Kids Go Shopping, the Foundation now champions programs like Cops & Kids Get Involved, Cops & Kids Get Creative, Cops & Kids Go Back to School, and community traditions like the Cops & Kids Findlay Halloween Parade. Each program creates meaningful opportunities for children and officers to meet, laugh, learn, and build trust in ways that strengthen our entire community.
At the same time, the Foundation is expanding its commitment to officer support and wellness, ensuring the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our community know they are valued, supported, and appreciated.
